Tyler Chase sworn in as new Commissioner
On December 1st, 2025, Tyler Chase was sworn in as a new commissioner for the Port of Ephrata. Tyler won the election held on November 4th, and was certified on November 25th. Tyler will take over the position vacated by Mary Rathbone and joins Shelly Rivard-Detrick and Nicholas Moore on the Board of Commissioners and will immediately assume the role of Secretary for calendar year 2026. Tyler has been a port district area resident for over ten years and operates his own contracting business. Tyler is a FAA certified private pilot and owns a Cessna 172 that is based at EPH.
