Future Projects on tap for the Port

The Port has designated two projects in the Capital Investment Plan with the FAA which will be eligible for grant funding.  The Runway 3/21 resurfacing and maintenance project will commence starting in October 2024 with a completion date scheduled for summer 2025.  The Perimeter fencing project is scheduled to commence starting in 2026 and to be completed in 2027.  The fencing project, to include electronic and manual gates, is designed to significantly increase airport security.  Other projects are in the discussion stage that are targeted to increase airport, industrial park and rail complex capacity and services.  Stay tuned.
