Port of Ephrata

On Saturday, September 21, 2024, the Port of Ephrata community saw the PBY that had been a fixture at KEPH for over 15 years, hauled away after a week of being disassembled by its new owner, Yanks Air Museum.  “The PBY will be re-built and fly once again” according to Casey Wright, CEO of Yanks.  Mr. Wright intimated that perhaps the PBY, once a new Airworthiness Certificate is issued by the FAA, will make a return flight back to KEPH.  When not flying, the aircraft will be put on static display at the museum in Cholla, California.
