Rail

The Port of Ephrata, through existing and soon-to-be upgraded infrastructure, offers the ability to serve as a freight unloading/loading facility i.e. transmodal. An active track (spur), utilized by BNSF that connects directly to the main Seattle-Chicago line, splits up once it enters the rail warehouse complex, to place the rail car in the best strategic location. This unique set-up offers the freight tenant/facility user a more cost-effective, time-efficient process to move/receive goods from the region and as such drives additional value to being based at the Port.
