The Port of Ephrata is waiting for one final hurdle to be cleared before construction of the Jet-A Fuel Tank Complex can commence. A Building Permit from the City of Ephrata is in the process of being acquired which should be completed by early September 2024. In addition to the 20,000 gallon Jet-A tank, several additions will be made. A new credit card system i.e. QT-Pod will be installed to replace the current FuelMaster system along with a fuel recycler on the Avgas (100 LL) tank. A fuel drain system to re-direct fuel spillage away from the complex is being added to ensure safety and compliance. The complex will be completely fenced in that will include a parking area for the re-fueler truck. A storage shed for Jet-A supplies will also be added. This move will enable KEPH to better serve its flying community with the latest equipment and greater fuel capacity.
