PBY soon to be disassembled, leaving the Port

Yanks Air Museum in Cholla, California, owner of the PBY currently parked at KEPH, announced that they are in the process of arranging for the dis-assembly and transfer of the PBY to their museum site.  It is expected that work will commence by the end of April, depending on how quickly they can secure transportation arrangements, to disassemble, load, then transport by truck the aircraft to its new home.  The PBY will be completely re-furbished, according to Frank Wright, Director of Operations of the museum, and put on static display.
